At the heart of our mission is uniting families & community.
Our desire is to meet each individual where they are, present them with new ways of thinking, along with the social and emotional supports to foster confidence and change.
Helping Young People Succeed
UTURN -Life Skills Tool Building (ages 8 - 21)
Partnering with law enforcement agencies, district courts, high schools and colleges, our goal is to redirect youth first time offenders in transition from challenging family histories, jail, and school expulsion.
We will offer age-appropriate programs & hands-on activities to help them build self esteem, learn respect for self and others, develop leadership skills, and good citizenship. Career exploration, college preparation workshops, and free computer-based training are also available.
Support For Men
Men have different needs. Depending on their family structures, many men struggle with insecurities from broken relationships or divorce, or fear from emotional or physical abuse. Men returning from incarceration have additional challenges such as stigma, lack of family support, finding employment and accessing resources.
Every Saturday from 9am to 1pm, Men enjoy good conversation over breakfast. They receive encouragement, empowerment and are given information needed to access those necessary community resources to help them become reintegrated into their families and communities.
The Men have access to computer training, math and reading tutors and more.
